A: The School of Wheat Quality is a comprehensive online course on cereal chemistry designed for millers and bakers to help them understand the science behind wheat and wheat flour.
Q: Who can take the School of Wheat Quality?
A: Enrollees should have a scientific background on Chemistry, Food Sciences and related sciences from their school to better grasp the technical nature of the course.
Q: How long does that course take?
A: The course is divided into three (3) modules. Enrollees can finish the course at their own pace. We recommend finishing the course within 1-3 months.
Q: Is the School of Wheat Quality available in other languages?
A: The School of Wheat Quality Videos has subtitles in English, Bahasa Indonesia, Vietnamese and Thai. Exams are still in English.
Q: How can I progress through the courses’ modules?
A: Enrollees must watch and finish each video under every module. They would then take an assessment exam after each module and must pass the exam before advancing to the following modules.
Q: What if I fail the exam?
A: Enrollees can re-take the assessment exam after each module until they pass. The pre-assessment exam cannot be re-taken.
Q: How much is the fee for the School of Wheat Quality Course?
A: The School of Wheat Quality is a free course that is provided by US Wheat Associates.
